...And then there is more food. Ann Bradfield and company again this year will host the BAKE SHOPPE well stocked with a wide variety of homemade cakes, breads, and treats
...It's not all about food. You can get your fall harvest staples (canned goods to hedge apples) as well as your holiday shopping finished in one place as you shop in our COUNTRY STORE, CRAFT ROOM, and HOLIDAY CRAFT SYMPOSIUM.
(If you cannot find it here...well, it's just not going to be found)
....okay--so there is still more food....
...You will want to make a stop in our COOKIE ROOM. A wide variety of homemade cookies to be purchased one at a time or a couple of dozen to take home.
(We make the cookies, you supply the milk or coffee for the dunkin'!)
...And if crafts or shopping or food are not your delight -- how about some fun and games to be found in our CARNIVAL ROOM.
(So, while you shop, the children can be captivated and entertained. We think of it all!!!)
...Before you leave--don't forget to take a chance on "old lady luck" by bidding for one of our valued prized finds in the RAFFLE ROOM. (This is a room the guys love to explore...great tools, great values, opportunities for adventure and entertainment abound!)
...Finally, we have an amazing selection; a virtual plethora of books, magazines and reading sources in our BOOK STORE. Most are slightly used; but a good book or story is never worn out; just a tale and gleaning to be enjoyed by still another.

Our annual BAZAAR has stood the test of time, we believe; because it's purpose is greater than mere fun, entertainment or a shopping experience. It is a spiritual adventure. Here you will find Jesus Christ. At our BAZAAR you will encounter authentic Christian hospitality and enjoy fellowship with friends and neighbors (and if the person across from the table slurping up their chicken and noodles isn't a friend when you arrive...by the time you leave they will be!).
AND....we do all of this to raise funds to do mission. This is a dayof investment. Your dollars exchanged for a piece of candy or a Christmas gift are used to further the cause of Jesus Christ in the Cedar Valley and beyond.
In 2008 we were so serious about this Biblical mandate of stewardship that we will share the first 25% for direct support and aid to those most devastated by the June 2008 natural disasters (tornados and historic flooding) here in the Cedar Valley. We will help our neighbors who need the most help. Then, and only then, will we invest the blessings of our BAZAAR for the continued mission and ministry of Central Christian Church.
Why does our BAZAAR keep happening year after year and with such success? Because it is about loving God (first), others (next) and then finally addressing our needs and mission (last). This is the recipe of life and faith Jesus instructed us to abide by in Luke 10:25-27.
We make this our main thing every year. That is why we believe our BAZAAR is not just fun, but a blessing and a spiritual adventure!!
