             Q:  Why is it so important to attend this meeting?
                       A:  Each member of our church family should make every effort to be 
                             present to learn first hand about the business of the church's new  
                             program year which will begin July 1st and to have a voice in any
                             decisions that must be made. 

              Some highlights of this meeting will be the following: 
                           Review and accept next year's budget.
                           Elect leadership for the 2011-2012 year.
                           Receive and file program reports for the 2010-2011 year.
                           Receive an update on Building God's Kingdom.
                     Hear pastoral reflections on the Year in Review.
                           Consider any other congregational business. 

    Our love for God also means that we do our part for Central Christian Church. 
      Attending this Annual Meeting is one of the responsibilities of membership.

        Following this meeting will be FOOD!   

           Yes, that is correct!  Sharon Gatewood is coordinating a wonderful meal, 
           which will be held in Fellowship Hall.  The infamous clipboards were passed
           on Sunday, May 29, during worship for sign-ups to provide salads, desserts,
           assistance with setting up, cleaning up, and more.  Give Sharon a call if you
           would like to pitch in and provide.  Volunteer to be part of this fun! 

           Pastor Brent and a couple of other grillers extraordinaire will be preparing
           hot dogs, burgers, and maybe even grilled SPAM.  Don't miss this good time!
  
                      What better way to end a Central gathering than with a meal!
                                      (or as Pastor Brent says, "A mill!")

                         WHAT ANNUAL BAZAAR IS THIS?  READ ON. . . .

                       ANNUAL BAZAAR 

It's a tradition that has occurred each fall at Central Christian Church decade after decade.  We are famous in the Cedar Valley for our ANNUAL BAZAAR.  Others try to copy what we do, but
none have been able to duplicate the joy and fellowship and festivities.  

Why is our BAZAAR so successful year after year? Because it is about loving God first, others next, and then finally addressing
our needs and mission last. 

   This is the recipe of life and faith that Jesus instructed us to abide by in Luke
   10:25-28:  And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted Him, saying, "Master,
    what shall I do to inherit eternal life?"

               He said unto him, "What is written in the law?  how readest thou?"

               And he answering said, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
               and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy
               neighbour as thyself."

               And He said unto him, "Thou hast answered right:  this do, and thou shalt live."

   We make this event our main church activity every year.  That is why we 
   believe our BAZAAR is not just fun, but a blessing and a spiritual adventure!
